About this class

Yin Yoga classes are nourishing and grounding, with poses held between 3 to 8 minutes each with a focus on floor based postures. This allows a deep release of tension in the connective tissues (ligaments, tendons and fascia) to help improve flexibility and create a feeling of space and freedom in your body. Because of its slow, meditative nature, Yin can be both mentally and physically challenging at times as well as deeply relaxing. Savor this precious opportunity to soften into surrender and passivity.

How to prepare

Students should bring their mats and any other props they use to feel comfortable. The studio has mats for rental, water and tea and props for use, including: straps, blocks, blankets.

There was an unpleasant smell in the studio that was a bit distracting but otherwise, it was a really nice class!

Good class - found it a bit hard to hear the instructor when she was up the front as there was also music playing. Parking in the area can be difficult so leave yourself time to park and walk
