About this class

The foam roller is an effective tool for releasing tight muscles and tension in the body...and combined with flowing yoga postures, this is the ultimate compliment to your high-intensity training! You will experience simple yoga sequences to lengthen your muscles as well as deep tissue 'rolling' release for the benefits of a massage towards improved circulation. This session will improve your posture, strength and flexibility while reducing your risk of muscular injuries. Mats and foam rollers are provided.

How to prepare

*Wear comfortable workout clothes & appropriate athletic cross-training shoes (our barre, pilates & yoga classes do not require shoes). If you are taking a cycling class, our bikes accept shoes with SPD clips. *Bring a water bottle & a towel–everything else is provided! If you are pregnant or have a medical condition, be sure to bring a required physician release before your first class so you can participate. *PSF classes are challenging because they work! Be prepared for a fast-paced sweat session! *Childcare when available is additional cost

How to get there

All Power Sculpt Fitness studio classes are held at 3119 N. Lincoln Ave. in Chicago 60657. If you are attending an indoor cycling class, please enter at our Power Cycle entrance located at 3120 N. Greenview. Metered and side street parking is typically available and our studio is accessible via several CTA options.

It would have been nice if the instructor used the right names for yoga poses or omitted them altogether. And there were foam rollers as advertised... the two elements of foam rollers and yoga were never combined, but maybe I was hoping for too much in a 30 minute class.

Foam roller felt so good but I didn't realize this restore class followed like a trx boot camp. Felt weird that I was there since the whole class stayed. Even though I came from a different studio and just used this as a cool down. Would probably just go to boot camp at Psf next time

I enjoyed using the foam roller, but the atmosphere was not inviting and it was really gross how they had a workout class with shoes right before then we are on mats on the floor.

This is a really quick stretch, cool down session that runs after another class. The studio doesn't have the best airflow, but the instructors are really nice.
