GRIP-SOLED SOCKS are MANDATORY for ALL classes at PLATEFIT. We sell socks at the studio. If you choose to forfeit your class because of the grip-sock policy, please be aware that it will be marked as a "missed" class.

I really disliked this class. Not only did the machine give me a major headache and kinda made me nauseous. The sit up workouts on our backs laying down and coming up on the machine. Once I got home my right lower back is bruised. Will not be doing this one again. But doesn’t mean it’s not love able to others. Just didn’t work out for me.

It's always important to listen to your body and remember that you can turn off the plate anytime you need to as you acclimate to the workout. I took my first class here and figured a 30 minute class couldn’t be that hard. Man, was I wrong. Caitlin kicked our butts. It was nonstop, challenging fun.

HIIT-FIT (Glutes/Abs) - Vibration Training with Jazmin
I like using the power plate machines however the instructor was having to shout over the music and students who were taking the class after ours were milling about the small studio for a solid 10 minutes before we ended. There is not room for that and it not only cut into the space but it was very distracting.

Oh no! Sorry about that. With the small nature of the studio, we do ask clients to sit outside or in their car until their class time so that everyone is able to have a personal class experience. Hope to see you back on the plate again soon!

How to prepare

Who’s PLATEFIT designed for? Anyone! (who isn't pregnant) At PLATEFIT they believe fitness looks different on every body. PLATEFIT tips: Feels like the very first time? We recommend at least 3 classes to acclimate your body to vibration. Grip Soled Socks are required & available at the studios for $15. First Time clients- please arrive 15 min early so the staff can give you the PLATEFIT vibrational down low. They allow a grace period of 3 mins. Arrival after 3 mins will result in the loss of your spot if a Wait List client is present.

How to get there

PLATEFIT WEST HOLLYWOOD suggests arriving 15 min. early to find proper parking. Meter parking is available on weekends. Weekdays find 2 hours free parking along Kings Road and neighboring streets. Street cleaning Monday and Tuesdays. Next door to Kings Road Cafe. Cross streets Kings Road and Beverly Blvd. If you arrive early for your class and the door is closed or the class in session is full please enjoy the fresh air and sunshine in our front awning space until your class start time.
