Intermediate/Advanced Reformer with Elizabeth
I felt like for an intermediate/advanced class this was not as much of a work out as I wanted it to be. The instructor is cool though.
Intermediate/Advanced Reformer with Tannis
Tannis teaches a fantastic classical class. That’s hard to find in LA- someone who still holds true to the art of Pilates.
Intermediate/Advanced Reformer with Erica
Beautiful studio, completely different ambiance
Intermediate/Advanced Reformer with Elizabeth
Very traditional Pilates, which is a welcome break from all the Boot Camp style Pilates studios that have sprung up in the last few years (ahem, non Pilates). It’s not about leaving pouring in sweat but rather about doing the deep work of strengthening. My only critique is that I don’t think this level class should have been billed as intermediate/advanced, while great and with a wonderful and very attentive instructor, it was definitely more mellow.
Intermediate/Advanced Reformer with Ammo
Cool spot! Nice owner!
Intermediate/Advanced Reformer with Stephanie
Class was interesting. Worked on classic moves in depth but didn’t feel like an intense workout
Intermediate/Advanced Reformer with Ammo
This was a very disappointing reformer class. Ive taken many adv Pilates classes and this was disorganized and had little alignment instruction. I didnt get a great core burn and it was obvious we were all Doing different positions all of the time so who knows if we were even doing the correct exercises. They were not classical Pilates exercises and she did not count so all of our sides were uneven. I was very disappointed in this studio.
Intermediate/Advanced Reformer with Cameron
Instructor was aggressive in a strange way and did not respect my boundaries/limitations.
Intermediate/Advanced Reformer with Cameron
The class was good I felt like Cameron is extremely knowledgeable but he was kind of mean! Also when he corrected me he was a little too aggressive/condescending and I told him something we were doing was hurting my ankle and he held my feet to the bar and made me do it.
Intermediate/Advanced Reformer with Esther
Esther was amazingly helpful. She stayed after class to answer some questions I had and was very knowledgeable and patient.
