About this class

The Power Yoga practice is a series of physical postures linked together by flow. It is designed to enliven and release the body of tensions and toxins, while improving strength, balance, and flexibility. The postures are supported and strengthened by a focus on breath throughout the class.

How to prepare

Please arrive in plenty of time for your class. You must be in the yoga room ready by the class start time as we start our classes on time and latecomers cannot be admitted. Your reserved spot may then be given to a standby student. Please wear comfortable yoga or exercise clothes. Wearing slightly form-fitting clothing is advised so that the instructor may provide alignment cues and corrections. When coming to any Hot Class you are required to have a towel that covers the entire mat. We do rent these for an additional £2.00 if needed.

Pacific Yoga is located on the ground floor of the Brewhouse in Georges Square.

The class is too hard for that time of the morning and the transition from the beginning of the class into the actual hard poses is far too fast. It could have been ok if there was a gentle but proper build up into the poses. For example we went straight into loads of boat poses and boat pulses from the get go. The spine was not even properly warmed up yet and neither the core muscles. And the teacher did not give alternatives for most of the poses or the easier versions. And finishing the class of with anpincha felt too hard and a bit risky for me for that time in the morning and when most of the class were possibly not even able to kick.

What is ClassPass?
