About this class

Sculpt and tone your body, tap into inner strength, improve cardiovascular health with this class taught at 95°F and 40% humidity. Hot Pilates is an extremely challenging, full body workout using a combination of Pilates Principles, HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) and Tabata Training. You will burn calories and create a balance of core strength and more lean, sculpted muscles. Hot Pilates is low impact and is suitable for beginners to advanced students as the class can be modified to suit your needs and fitness level. Level III is our standard class.  Every movement is initiated with a breath, either with an inhale or an exhale, in order to keep the mind present and keep the body safe and injury free. This was in no way shape or form Pilates. The teacher went straight 200% from the moment it started and never gave us any rest or recovery time. I’m not sure in who’s mind thinks a burpee is part of Pilates.

Chelsea is a great instructor! She was very welcoming and made the check in process easy, gave a brief tour of the facilities, and explained the flow of the class prior to the class beginning. The class itself was a good challenge. It's a semi-advanced class, but accessible to new comers and beginners. I felt comfortable joining the class and felt at ease going at my own pace. Chelsea is an attentive instructor, making sure everyone is using correct form during each exercise. The facilities are wonderful, and I am definitely interested in coming back to take another class!

What is ClassPass?
