About this class
The word "Hatha" has two meanings. Hatha is the umbrella word for all physical practices of yoga (asana) and the yoga of opposing energies, ha (sun) and tha (moon). This slower class respects both usages of the word Hatha by using physical practices to find a balance. There is a focus on basic alignment, actions within the poses, mindfulness and listening to your own body. The class is well-rounded and focuses on the mind-body connection to build strength and flexibility in the body and mind. A great class for beginners to build a solid foundation and for experienced practioners to refine their practice and knowledge.

How to prepare
Please wear comfortable yoga or exercise clothes. Slightly form fitting clothes are advised so that the instructor may provide alignment cues and corrections. Bring your Yoga Mat, Water, and a Towel. All classes are done barefoot or in socks, no shoes.
