About this class

These classes fuse HIIT and RESISTANCE training into a single 45 minute experience. We start with a heart-pumping, sweat-drenching segment on the VersaClimbers and/or Airdynes. The second half of class focuses on strengthening and toning the muscles of the core and obliques on the Megaformer. HYBRID classes are perfect for those who want the most efficient full-body workout imaginable. We recommend that you take at least one normal RESISTANCE class prior to taking a HYBRID because there is no time in a HYBRID class to receive a proper RESISTANCE orientation. Please be sure to bring athletic shoes, a water bottle, and grip socks.

How to prepare

Grip socks are worn for hygiene and safety in our RESISTANCE classes. We sell them in the studio. You can go barefoot if you want, but we don't recommend it. For all CARDIO+ classes, we require athletic shoes. Bring a water bottle. We provide complimentary sweat towels during class and refreshing cold cloths when you're done. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the class starts. If it's your first time at Mecha, you must arrive at least 15 minutes early. Late entry to class is not allowed.

Good class. The HIIT was a bit tough to get into the hang of because we transitioned so quickly, but the instructor was super motivating and energetic. The Pilates / megaformer portion was great.

What is ClassPass?
