About this class

Vinyasa Yoga Heat level: 90 degrees Age/experience level: Ages 12 and up; beginner to advanced A great Vinyasa flow is one of life’s most expansive experiences. We all share the energy in the room in this dynamic flowing practice. Every choreography is different in a Vinyasa class to keep you challenged and looking forward to what comes next. Your breath, the postures, the music, your teacher, and your fellow yogis together create a meditative experience to nourish your body, mind, and soul. And if this isn’t enough of the good stuff, there’s more! You will be increasing flexibility, building muscle strength, developing balance, and burning calories. You will also enjoy the sweat…amazing, but yes, you will find sweating eliminates toxins, rejuvenates your skin, and just makes you feel like at the end of class, you have really done something great for yourself. Come regularly and be amazed at the transformation!

Vinyasa with Rose
I have a lot of gripes with this class. The woman who checked me in (not sure of her name but she was short and blonde) was incredibly rude. Instead of greeting me, she asked “who are you?” in a pretty judgmental tone. I’ve only been to this studio one other time, and I didn’t know where the other room was. I asked her for directions, and she’s pretty rudely said something around the lines of “there’s only one way to go”. The room wasn’t near warm enough for my taste, and the class was way too fast. It’s important to hold poses for more than 30 seconds so you actually benefit from the stretch and we didn’t hold anything longer than 25 (which was only once in the pigeon pose). There was no teaching at the beginning of class, and no meditation at the end. To me, it felt like less of a yoga class and more of a workout class which I was not fond of. Teachings are very important to me in Vinyasa. Rose was very sweet, but I think this studio’s Vinyasa classes just aren’t my taste.

The class was challenging and the temperature was perfect for warm yoga. I liked that they had a mat and towel for me to use as I did not bring one b/c I read on a comment that they provided them. They said I could borrow but bring my own next time. Also, instructor was hard to follow. She would walk around a lot and I would have to look at the person next to me pretty often to see what to do. I would for sure go again-but bring my own stuff!

Cool yoga studio in Frisco - popped in to a hot yoga session and loved it. I felt challenged and welcomed - Looking forward to going back soon. The studio itself had locker rooms and clean showers. The studio is heated with infrared heated mirrors, which is SO NICE - my skin feels incredible after a good sweat - I also appreciate the free towels and mats
