About this class

Find your foundation, align your spine and breathe. Yoga Flow is a movement-oriented class designed to help you strengthen, lengthen and find balance. Postures can be modified to fit most practitioners. All levels welcome. All of their flow classes involve movement - one posture moving to the next to the next to the next. The style, sequences and level of challenge all vary with the teacher guiding you through the practice. For the most part, their flows are gentle and accessible to all practitioners. All of our bodies are different and while one person may find hip openers difficult, another has a hard time sitting still, another person may struggle with balance. So, they encourage you to try all of their teachers, tell them your specific limitations or challenges and modify where necessary. You may find you naturally resonate with one teacher more than others. Please give feedback and keep coming back to your mat.

How to prepare

Please wear comfortable yoga or exercise clothes. Slightly form fitting clothes are advised so that the instructor may provide alignment cues and corrections. Bring a water bottle (they have filtered water). Mats are available although they recommend you bring your own if possible.

How to get there

Heart + Mind Yoga is located at 827, 10 Discovery Ridge Hill SW Calgary, AB T3H 5X2 Canada. To find them travel south of Highway 8 (Glenmore Trail) on 69th Street SW. They are located at the bottom of the hill right across the street from the community fields, skating rinks and tennis courts. Their studio is on the second floor beside the child psychology clinic.

What is ClassPass?
