About this class

It's yoga with weights - a class that truly challenges what your 'peak' is! Burn combines a vinyasa (flow) yoga foundation with elements of Pilates and fitness all set to an up tempo, energizing playlist that will motivate you to work hard and reap the results. Burn incorporates hand weights which are used throughout the class to add a serious challenge to the practice. Keeping muscles dense and strong helps strengthen the entire musculoskeletal system and will help you on and off the mat. Target specific muscle groups as your instructor guides you through the practice with options to suit all levels.

How to prepare

You will need a yoga mat, large towel and water for each class. They recommend large (beach, bath sheet) size towels (2), an additional face towel and/or Large Fire Shaper towel. You can rent or purchase a mat, towel and water at the studio should you forget yours or need extra for class.

Very interesting class. Not your typical hot yoga class, but I supposed that's why it wS jam packed. I would def try it again

Instructors dont care if you are new or not. They dont even say hi. They have their own group and they only talk to each other. No instructions or asking about any injuries. Its just take it or leave it. Maybe its because im non American looking, im not too sure. This is my 4th time visiting, and it will be my last. I feel so not welcome here.

Nice class! Rita is a knowledgeable instructor who not only described and demonstrated movements well but walked around the room to make adjustments when necessary. This class felt like a barre-Pilates-yoga hybrid which I really enjoyed. Not sure hot yoga is for me (felt woozy a few times) but maybe with practice comes higher heat tolerance? All in all, a great class!

What is ClassPass?
