About this class
Physical exercise and breathing are used to calm, focus and clear the mind. There is a stronger emphasis on breathing technique than many other types of yoga. Proper breathing can help you relax, focus your mind, and increase your energy level. Poses are adapted for individual needs and movement is integrated with the breath. This class is appropriate for beginning as well as experienced students. This class will occasionally break for a couple weeks - so be sure to check the class schedule!

How to prepare
Here are some tips to help your visits go smoothly. 1. If this is your first visit, please arrive early for your class or appointment in order to fill out paperwork and get started on time. 2. Please keep voices low in the reception area to ensure everyone enjoys their class or massage. 3. Please no shoes in the studio for class. You can take class in socks or bare feet. 4. There is no locker room. Most people come dressed for class, but you may change for class in bathroom.
How to get there
DHA is located in the East Decatur Station Business Complex. This is just East of Commerce/S. Columbia and 2 blocks West of the Avondale Train Station. The entrance is in the breezeway behind Figo and the Corner Pub. The parking lot can be entered from either next to Figo and the Corner Pub or behind All Souls Church off of New Street and it wraps around the rear of the complex. Handicap accessibility is on the New Street side. The breezeway connects these two parking lots. Free Parking.
