About this class

CRUcut is a circuit-based training program that offers an appropriate challenge for participants at all ages and fitness levels. Program content will vary, but always includes short intervals of aerobic activity followed by a series of functional movements using your body weight and a number of training accessories. CRUcut is designed to help participants build both functional body strength and muscular endurance. *Please note, credits for CRUfit classes do not apply to ClassPass reservations!*

How to prepare

CRUfit provides gym towels for use during classes, but please bring your own bath towel if you wish to shower. They have filtered water which can be used to fill your water bottle. Bottled water is also available for $1. For cycling please wear sneakers or bring cycling shoes with SPD cleats. *Please note, credits for CRUfit classes do not apply to ClassPass reservations!

How to get there

Street parking is usually easy for early AM and evening classes. If street parking is scarce midday, park in the lot at the top of LaSalle (a 2 min walk to CRUfit). The first 20 min will be free. You will then pay $1 per hour with validation from CRUfit. *Please note, credits for CRUfit classes do not apply to ClassPass reservations!

Great upper body strength training, not enough exercises to really get my heart pumping though. Some of the TRX stuff is confusing to me but maybe that's your cup of tea! Love this facility just not my fav class.

Just not my cup of tea and not great for a beginner. It's essentially a cross fit class with different stations you rotate through. The instructor seemed nice, but it's a popular class and with that many students, it's hard to give individualized attention to students who need it. Being expected to do a 40 lb deadlift when you've never done one before was a little unreasonable and not safe.

The sub was not the best instructor. She did not lead the class.

structure of class 20 on 10 off switching 10 times between exercises was not my favorite. 20 sec did not feel like enough time to get into the exercise. But as always I love Tinu's classes!

What is ClassPass?
