About this class

A little less dance, the same intense burn. This class focuses on strength and stamina while using ankle weights and hand weights. We maintain our ballet posture to execute defining exercises choreographed to motivating music. Strength and balance are challenged in this whole body workout. This class is a combination of both mat and standing series. Weights are optional and we offer 1-3 lb hand weights.

How to prepare

What to wear: Yoga type clothing, such as leggings and a tank. Feel free to bust out your bodysuits! Bare feet are recommended but non-grip socks are acceptable as well. There is a small changing area and bathroom available for changing, but arriving ready to go is preferred. What to bring: A water bottle! Bottled water is not sold at the studio, but you can fill your own bottle there. Mats and other equipment are provided free of charge!

How to get there

The 4th Street Studio is located at 1410 4th Street SW on the lower level, in the same building as Etch Hair Design. It’s the first door on the left. Limited parking is available on the surrounding streets. It is free after 6pm Monday through Saturday and all-day Sunday. Please allow extra time to find a parking spot, if arriving by vehicle.

I loved it! Left the class with so many endorphins! :) such a good class if you used to take ballet or pointe as a kid. Would definitely go again!

What is ClassPass?
