About this class

Get Bent! :: Flexibility :: All Level Ages: 12+ Qualifies as a BONUS Class if you are on a membership. Flexibility training is perhaps the most undervalued component of conditioning. While recent and ongoing debate questions its role in injury prevention, athletes can still gain much from a stretching regime. Competitive sports like Pole & Aerial Fitness, can have quite an unbalancing effect on the body. Using the same arm to do the same spin over and over again sound familiar? One side of the body is placed under different types and levels of stress compared to the other. A flexibility training program can help to correct these disparities preventing chronic, over-use injury. We will use various flexibility techniques and focus on reducing tightness, increasing range of motion and for the more flexible, pushing ourselves into deeper and more challenging positions.

How to prepare

For pole classes, shorts are highly recommended. For aerial classes, leggings or capri pants are recommended to prevent apparatus burns.

What is ClassPass?
