The Gyrokinesis method is a movement method that gently works the entire body, opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion and creating functional strength through rhythmic, flowing movement sequences. It is an original, and unique movement method which has benefits & qualities similar to those found in Yoga, Tai Chi, gymnastics and dance.

How to get there

Align's new location is 205 N. Robertson Blvd. near Clifton Way. Free parking is available on Clifton Way (2 hours free) and Clark Dr (1 hour free), as well as metered parking on Robertson Blvd. and paid parking in the Cedars Medical Center for $6 per hour.

GYROKINESIS Class with Stephanie
I had hoped to use the gyro tonic machine. You do not. I probably should have read the descriptions and reviews. This is not a work out of you normally work out or can do at least a level 1 yoga or Pilates. This is like a level 0 or half. It is like arm stretches while sitting on a stool. Or mat. Instructor is nice and effective motivator but this was way too basic for me. I normally take level 2-3 and Lagree Pilates at the toughest studios.

Really interesting for a first-timer. Felt stretched out and energetic, yet relaxed after. Ill be back for more.

My back feels so much better and body is less tense. Great for spinal mobility, injuries, athletes and anyone with arthritis or joint pain. Learned great exercises I can do at home too.
