Balance Ball at AirFit Dance Studio
About this class
The Balance Ball class focuses on the core, lower back, abdomen, obliques, inner and outer thigh, and buttocks. This specially designed sequence helps you to achieve a greater balance of your body and to increase personal body awareness. Supportive tools such as the fit ball and mini exercise ball are used. Your instructor will guide you through learning over 100 different tricks and put them into various combinations. Each week you will be challenged to create new and different combinations all while getting a great workout and having lots of fun. Balance Ball class can be attended by anyone, regardless of fitness level. What to wear? >Snug fitting shirt (nothing baggy as it gets tangled) >Capri pants/tights/leggings >No jewelry, lotions or heavy perfumes >Please keep your nails trimmed to avoid snagging the ball. Important Notes: Not suitable for pregnant, operation and spine problem. How to prepare
Bring water, sweat towel and a mat (if you want your own – they also have mats available for use in the studio). It is advised to wear thick fabric pants or smooth leggings that are free of snaps, zips or exposed buckles that could shag the hammock fabric. You will practice yoga barefoot so all shows will be dropped at the door! Please remove all jewelry prior to practicing yoga as it can snag or rip the fabric hammocks. They recommend students avoid heavy meals before class.
