How it works

About this class

Silks, also called Fabric or Tissu, are one long piece of fabric attached in the middle to the ceiling to create two long tails. In this class you will learn to climb, invert in the air, and hang upside down. As you increase strength and comfort-level, you will learn sequences, drops, slides, and flips that allow you to descend the fabric with style and grace. This class is geared towards beginner from first time students to those that are still learning the basics.

Jack is a great teacher! Acclimated the class to different levels so everyone was challenged.

Believe me, if you can go somewhere else, don’t go to that place. All you will get with your time and money is unfair treatment and insult!Worst worst worst experience ever! And don’t even bother giving them advice to improve, they will only find an excuse to throw you out. They seriously need to improve with their management. So bad cause they might have good classes, but nobody deserves a rude treatment like this, by just being polite and following the rules.
Response from the studio:
Unfortunately we have a strict 10 min Late policy. Anyone showing up after 10 min is not allowed in class - for students safety. We apologize for any inconvenience.

this class is amazing!

I loved this class! Having done Antigravity Yoga for over two years, I was ready to try something new. I do believe there is a prerequisite core strength for this class, but it is definitely good for beginners if you're willing to try! The instructor was clear with instructions and always there to support the students. Note that you do take turns using the silks with the other students, but for a beginner class, I think that's great. I used the time to observe the more veteran students' technique, which helps.
Beginner Silks with Kate
The silk class was fun! I wish the teacher could have helped and assisted more so we could do more tricks.
Beginner Silks with Jen
Great class, could not feel my legs during the treadmill portions, but they felt great after a couple days!
