About this class

Strength. Balance. Stability.   Pilates is an integrated mind-body workout that improves balance, coordination and good posture. You will move by engaging muscles in your abdominal wall to protect your back, helping to create overall long, lean muscular definition in the body. Condition the body from head to toe, improve flexibility, and strengthen the entire body. Synchronize movement with breath, have fun, and sweat it out!  This class is ideal for people of all ages and physical conditions. For additional support, there will be props for available for assistance in each class.

Love love love Chivon’s class! My only complaint is that it’s listed as an hour-long class, and the few times I’ve taken it, it’s only gone 50 minutes. Otherwise, one of the best in the city!

Great class, instructor had a great eye for symmetry and posture. The class was gentle and relaxing but my core and Glutes were on fire! Definitely will come again.

This was actually a pretty hard class (most of them aren't at this studio). Instructor wasn't super experienced with cueing. I would recommend for intermediate-advanced but if you need much guidance this wouldn't be one I recommend.

Absolutely loved the class. It was so relaxing, yet hard working. I left feeling satisfied and calm! I do, however, find it silly to charge $3 to use a mat. Thats the most Ive seen a studio charge, and I think its a bit silly.

This is more like an active meditation class than the traditional yoga I was expecting. It would suit absolute beginners or people who just want relaxation. Once I realized that I did appreciate it and came out very relaxed but it was not a "workout" at all. I think 889 needs to work on the class descriptions. I've noticed many of them don't reflect the teaching method.
