Your First Week of ClassPass… in GIFs


Honestly, from the wide range of exercises, the scheduling flexibility, and the super hot instructors…it was kind of an easy sell. Good for you!

Soon you will learn the health benefits, along with the straight-up fun you can experience as a full-fledged ClassPasser. But first, you have to make it through week one.

I, myself, just completed my first week and I can definitely tell you I hit about every muscle spasm, endorphin high, total exhaustion and mind and body-bending rejuvenation humanly possible. To sum it up bluntly through a series of GIFs, this is how it’s about to go down for you…

MONDAY

“I think I’ll start off with yoga…I mean, it’s cold out, so I guess I’ll try Bikram…it’s basically like stretching in a sauna…right?” WRONG:

You might feel like you’re going to die. It’s so hot, you hallucinate your instructor opening the door toward which you crawl to the exit for survival:

And when you find out class is actually an hour and THIRTY minutes long…

But when you hear that fateful, “Namaste,” you lift your head up with pride and start feeling like a $1,000,000…


 

TUESDAY

You wake up after a rested slumber, and you’re ready to rock. With hot yoga out of the way, you decide to try spinning. I mean, it’s just like riding a bike… right?


While checking in for class, you’re handed a pretty cool pair of cycling shoes (who knew!), and you click those babies right into your assigned bike station:

The music starts pumping and the instructor says to start with level 3. Easy! …Until you’re ready for your first sprint:


But as the music rages on, you start really feeling those endorphins and you never want class to stop:

 

WEDNESDAY

Waking up: Umm.. is this pain normal?

You snooze until you have 10 minutes to get ready and then finally peel yourself out of bed.

But then you remember you have restorative yoga, and you sigh a giant breath of relief.

It’s basically like nap time for adults with awesome stretching… and you’re not even mad about it. Not one bit:

 

THURSDAY

You wake up BEFORE your alarm goes off… BEFORE your alarm! “Who am I?,” you ask? A newly addicted fitness fanatic, that’s who you are. 

You can’t wait for work to be over but the hours are ticking by so slowly…

…but you set up a reminder so you never forget to sign-up for class at noon. (And ahem, so no one schedules a meeting with you then!)

And tonight it’s on to a cardio dance class, which you’ll totally master since you always hit the dance floor:

Once you get to class, you realize your hips don’t move like they did when you were 12…but the instructor gives you a little help, and you start really getting into it:

Before you know it, you’re basically on stage with Beyonce, and you never want class to end:

 

FRIDAY:

Passing on that Thirsty Thursday happy hour last night has you feelin’ mighty proud.

 

You decide that today is a rest day but… you should probably go ahead and buy some more workout pants. You’re in major need.
