see all reviewsFinally tried the legendary Barry’s on my visit to London. I didn’t realise it would be so brutal and as someone who works out regularly, I died (in a good way). This location was lovely and spacious. The changing room was big and clean with great amenities. The service was also good from reception to the trainer. As a first timer I also got a complementary protein shake which was a nice touch.

There’s a mother daughter (I think) pair that have been in several classes I’ve been in that just completely ignore any and all instruction (riding up out the saddle the whole time, completely out of sync with the music at the same speed for every song), and they were on the side bar right in front of me when I was in the corner of the room, and it was SO distracting. Also multiple people with phones on their bikes with staff helping them set up and saying nothing, and Apple Watches lighting up constantly!!

see all reviewsFirst time taking Kelly’s class and I thought she did a pretty good job considering how empty the room was, I would definitely go again to one of her classes. One small thing was she was wearing a hat the whole lesson and the way the lighting was for most of the class, it was very difficult to see half of her face (it’s pretty dark!). Would have loved to have a bit more Florence and the machine on the playlist but otherwise all good!

Instructors are amazing at guiding the class and providing individual adjustments and encouragement. I feel in very safe hands. There is no body negativity (which I have experienced in other Pilates classes) - the focus is entirely on strength and precision. It is also an incredibly efficient way to work out. I can’t recommend it enough.

The classes are small and intimate which means the instructor is able to give feedback and adjust your position if needed which you don't get from large classes in commercial gyms. It was really fun and the instructor was so positive and encouraging. I'd love to go back in the future x

La seule chose que je trouve dommage c’est le temps « perdu » sur les explications sur la machine au debut quand il y a une nouvelle au cours de reformer. Avec les exercices d’échauffement et les étirements à la fin ça fait que 35 min de cours … du coup c’est très onéreux. Dommage que les exercices sur reformer ne durent pas l’intégralité du cours, ou au moins 45 min.

A nice warm welcome from Dan the instructor settled the nerves. A nice clean studio with a calming atmosphere. The session was amazing! Dan guided us through the different techniques and stages. Great to be given the flexibility (pun intended) to work and push to our individual experience and levels, especially for me as it was my first ever session and my body was really tight and immobile. A thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing session. Yoga is definitely a way of life for me now and YK is the perfect venue. Thank you Dan and Yoga Kula. Outstanding!

He’s very supportive and always encourages me to push harder because he believes I can do it, and he’s right!
