About this studio

Spin City was established in 2007 by Kate Edwards and Georgie Johnson with the aim of getting more women into exercise, but in a different and exciting way. Since then, Spin City has expanded to Newbury, Exeter, Brimpton and Hungerford, and is one of the most established and recognised pole schools in the United Kingdom. In 2013 Georgie Johnson and Cath Ballantyne took over the running of the Bristol studio and have introduced more classes into the Spin City timetable, including Bodybalance, Metafit, MetaPWR and Kettlercise. As the studio has evolved it also now has many men students attending classes.

How to prepare

For Metafit and MetaPWR and Kettlercise wear comfortable gym clothing and trainers. You may also want to bring a towel as it can get pretty sweaty! Align and Define and Fitness Pilates tend to be done in socks, or barefoot, and comfortable gym clothing that you can move easily in.

How to get there

Spin City Bristol is located at 184 Hotwell Rd in Bristol. The studio is easily accessible, close to the centre of Bristol and many major bus routes. There is no parking on site however, there are plenty of car parks nearby, as well as street parking.

Great way to start my morning!! Taken through a series of circuits that REALLY got my heart rate up! Well instructed and Cath was really encouraging and conscious of form! Dont be fooled by half an hour- it gets the job done- perfect workout before you start the day! Will be back!! Thank you
