About this studio

Beyond Movement, a boutique studio situated in Jalan Bangkung, Bangsar, is a place where people can improve their movement. Beyond Movement, like the name suggests, is not restricted to just a "workout." They wish to share their passion on movement through more efficient strategy and proper biomechanical knowledge that affects the fascia system. This helps to improve long term health and wellness. All their instructors are Polestar Pilates certified. Check out their Pilates, Gyrokinesis® and Gyrotonic® classes and see which one makes the most sense for you! They offer private, duet and small group classes. They also host Polestar Pilates Teacher Training courses - Mat and Reformer qualifications. Please note that all their classes are 55 minutes.

How to prepare

Please wear comfortable active wear and please remember to bring socks (preferably socks with grip). It's a must to wear socks for hygiene and safety purpose. Do try to arrive 10 minutes before class starts and Enjoy! Please note that all our classes are 55 minutes.

How to get there

The Beyond Movement Studio is located at 67-2 Jalan Bangkung in Kuala Lumpur. We are located just above Opus Restaurant.

Ong was clear in her explanation and gave cues to better understand the movement. You should try gyrokinesis it mobilizes your whole spine through breath

Christine has such a gentle and attentive style - one of the best Pilates classes I’ve attended in a while. Really gets you back to master the basics.

Was a great class- can really feel those muscles burn ???? Instructor was very attentive and friendly, love her spirit. Only thing weird was that there was another class happening at the next area at same time so could be a bit hard to focus.

Instructor was clear on her instructions and check our forms regularly. My only gripe is I noticed the class now has expanded to 6 pax and no longer offering “reformers-equipment” classes in their ClassPass schedule.

What is ClassPass?
