Area Infrared Sauna & Spa
Safety & cleanliness
Safety guidelines are provided by Area Infrared Sauna & Spa and were last updated on 8/18/22.
Mask-wearing policies
Guests are not required to wear masks, but if we have a guest with a health issue and reaches out to us we try our best to accommodate you and book you a less busy time. We want to be respectful to everyone and their needs. NYC does not currently require our business to request proof of vaccination
Social distancing measures
We space out our appointments and leave over 55mins of fresh air sanitization between clients. This is why we politely ask that you follow our appointment times as much as possible
Ventilation system
We keep basement and bathroom windows open to circulate fresh air. We do not have a forced air heat system so there is no fear about breathing in recycled air from the apartment building above. In addition to surface sanitizing we also have 55mins of fresh air sanitization in each cabin between use
Extra sanitation
All sauna cabins and high touch surfaces are sanitized by multiple methods (running the machine on high for 15min, opening doors and airing out for 40 mins, and sanitizing solution on all surfaces) in between each appointment. Fresh back rest, fresh towels, fresh rugs of course
