Verity was so lovely and motivating and the light show timed to the music was a very cool touch. Definitely heavier springs than I’m used to working with (had to modify at times which humbled me) and the class moves very quickly with limited breaks - but the time went by super quickly! Very keen to check out more classes when I’m next in town. Please open a 1R in Sydney!! 🙏

see all reviewsGreat class, I think especially good for people who are new to yoga. It was mindful movement but not too challenging. I have been to humming puppy before many times, and I did notice that this time there were only a few towels (some people missed out) and the room was very very warm, warmer than I thought it would be. The mats are already slippy but I was slipping even more because it was so hot! However despite these minor things, it’s a great space, amazing facilities.

see all reviewsAlicia is lovely and dedicated and switched on and helpful but I find the class is not beginner friendly, few of LA classes are, and it is so unpredictable and I have been doing pilates 4 times a week for 4 months at various studios and love athletica is always an overkill. Loud music and echoy mic at the same time make it often hard to hear/understand the instructions and are plain irritating. Other studios instructors fade the music when they speak and the volume is nowhere as loud. oh and a massive spiky LIVE CACTUS 🌵 on the floor between the reformers is a disaster waiting to happen if someone loses balance or feels faint and falls onto it. plain scary.

The class is high energy and a lot of movement so even though it’s suitable for a beginner, the moves themselves probably take a while to master. I was disappointed when this didn’t happen. A lot of the people in the class were new and booked from ClassPass and probably go to try out a little dance.
