    Such a beautiful, spotless and spacious studio! On the corner with a sweeping view of the park. This instructor is soft spoken and teaches in a more classical, slower pace. Class was good but I prefer a more upbeat energizing style. However she was very clear and demonstrated most exercises so you always knew exactly what to do.

    CORE & CARDIO Sculpt Full Body

    Honestly this is my favorite class at Bodyrok! It’s the only megaformer class I can find in NYC to incorporate the jump board, which I really takes the workout up a notch. My only gripe with BodyRok in general is that there aren’t as many instructions on form, but Kristen was an exception. Having had rotator cuff surgery and tears in both shoulders, I really appreciated the options offered to modify each position to what works best for my body. Great class!

    Pilates Machines Class

    Great classical class with lots of stretching. Real ones who understand classical pilates - small, slow movements while utilizing core and stabilizing pelvis - will enjoy this class. If you want someone to yell at you while burning out your glutes (and probably using the wrong muscles), I’d try somewhere like solidcore or BodyRok.

    Bob was great! He was hands on, which I loved, and really paid attention to my form. He's also learning to give instructions in the students' language so it was really fun and interesting to hear instructions in english, korean, italian, and portuguese.
