Alison gave a great workout! Worked up a good sweat and she did a good job pacing everything to the music. I think my only complaint was the music selection - only recognized maybe one song and felt most tunes were just okay.Healthworks Fitness for Women offers a wide variety of group fitness classes ranging from high intensity cardio and dance-inspired workouts, to mind and body classes like barre and yoga. Nice clean modern studio. Joe is a great instructor, you can tell hes still learning in his practice but hes going to be one of those instructors who goes far with their presence in the yoga communityPlease show up at least 10 minutes prior to class. I was worried that this class would be too basic and boring, but Mimi was GREAT! Challenging but had a nice flow. She corrected my alignment and made me realize how uneven my twisted triangle was on one side vs the other. Glad I came to this class!O2 Yoga balances many principles of Astanga Yoga with a more creative and less predictable vinyasa-flow format. Heated flow with lots challenging core work and balancing on one leg. Instructor had a very chill vibe. The demographic is a little older - it's not all spandex-clad yoga amazons that can do everything, so if you feel intimidated about your abilities, this would be a good place to try yoga.In this Somerville yoga studio, learn the fine craft of weaving your everyday life into your yoga practice and conversely, applying the yoga on your mat to your everyday life.

First time here. Beautiful studio! One of the most beautiful studios (barre, Yoga, Pilates, anything) Ive ever been to. Very welcoming staff. Both the teacher and (I think) owner introduced themselves as soon as you walk in. Instructor led a great class. I didnt think it was so much a power class, but I did think it was a great yoga class with a good flow and emphasis on stretch. Will definitely be back. Plus everything so clean! I actually wasnt afraid to touch the props which I usually want to avoid in other studios.Borealis Community Yoga offers Yoga for all levels, Broga Yoga for Men, Gentle Yoga and more.

I enjoy this studio for the sense of community but this class was definitely not slow! Lauren asked for special requests right before class and created a customized flow on the fly for us that was pure perfection. She does the moves with you, but also is very attentive to giving feedback to help you get the most out of your practice. She also makes an effort to get to know your name which always makes things more personalized and motivating.Lotus Yoga Studio is a cozy neighborhood studio that offers a variety of yoga classes for beginner and advanced yogis alike.
