Labour Day 2024 - Breathe Stretch & Sound

Was introduced to the most shiok hamstring stretch using yoga strap and the best of all it that it is hands free!! I love the vibe of the studio and the really clean toilets. Got a pocky snack each at the end of class too! However I’m not too sure about this place being suitable for sound bath as the noise from the traffic is quite constant and loud. Some reflection bouncing off the white walls outside the studio which is a little glaring if you pick the wrong spot. Will look out for PH class in future as I enjoy a 90mins class which is quite rare on normal days.

    Cali: Push + Pull (Basics)

Took the calisthenics push and pull basics class with the faculty. Detailed instructions, form correction and demonstration from Ashikin. I found certain exercises challenging as this is my first ever calisthenics experience. It was a bonus to have Ashikin's toddler around! A very cute distraction away from my physical exhaustion 🤣 A unique workout experience overall, highly recommend! 😊

    Stretch & Sound Bath Relaxation

Love that the class comprised of active stretches ending with a relaxing 15 mins savasana accompanied by singing bowls. Momentum was just nice, and instructor Chih Peng took care of everyone.

    Hot Hatha

This my first time in hot yoga. The class is in hot temperature with heater, could make u very sweaty after whole day staying in air-conditioned office. Recommend to give a trial if never experienced. Remember bring much water and towel. Acceptable for fresh level, but depends on everyone’s condition.

    ContempDANCE - Level 2

Definitely need a strong dance background to attempt this class! James was a pretty fun and energetic replacement instructor but trying to master his choreography in that short 30mins is almost impossible; saw quite a few of the regulars struggling too. Would be great if they could make it into a series or extend the class to 90mins instead. Felt more like an open class at a dance studio.

    Deep Stretch

It was challenging to get to the studio after office hours - you will need to register for lift access and I didn’t factor enough time for that, so was late and missed the intro to the class which is important for a first timer. The class is not your typical stretch class, it was more focused on strength. Definitely a humbling but fun process. Instructor seemed quite strict initially but is actually warm and does her best to ensure you get the most out of the class. Overall, a great experience.
