    Had a great experience at Salt Fitness! Katie was very welcoming and super helpful (my friend and I arrived late) and checked in on us between the two portions. Bekah was a great instructor, fun, energetic. Highly recommend!

    I love this instructor and take her class fairly often. One issue I had recently though: I took a class on Monday at the river north location, and then the SAME EXACT class at Lakeview on Friday. Typically I think theyre good at mixing up, but something to be mindful of if you recently took a class at one of the other locations.

    Elena is one of the best barre instructors in the city. The only fly barre instructor’s class that I will go out of my way to take. She cues challenging movements and is super supportive of everyone in the class. If you are looking to feel empowered, accomplished, and sore in the best of ways, Elena is your instructor!

    Pure Barre Classic (50 Mins)

    Very effective workout for toning. Lots of encouragement from the instructors here. There is a changing room(also the coat hanging space)and bathroom in the back of the studio, If you need to change clothes, you’ll need to wait for the prior class to complete to get to the changing areas; can be a rush during busy times when there is only 10 min between classes.

    Total Body Conditioning

    The class was really fun. Good mix of cardio and strength intervals. Some moves were high impact like jumping jacks etc. while others were good toning moves like deadlifts and glute bridges. However, even though the class was not heated, it felt like it as the heat was blasting very high and the room was very dry. I think its a building issue since the instructor said the class was not specifically heated. If possible it would be better to turn down the heat in the classrooms.

    Great class! Everything was spot on. Lorena is very warm and gives good adjustments. The workout was challenging and worked my whole body but didn’t spend too long on any one body part. The music was on point. Everything was very clean and Lorena did a great job managing all of the props we used throughout the class. Highly recommend.

    This was my first barre class and I was nervous and not sure what to expect. The girls at the studio were so nice and welcoming! Stephanie was very nice and encouraging. As I expected from reading other reviews, they do call out your name a lot to tell you what to correct but I didnt mind it, Id rather do it right! I definitely understand how repetition of a move exhausts the muscles and is good but truthfully I was a little bored. The moves were long and just not very exciting. I definitely understand how its a good workout though and Id do it again. Recommend trying it!
