Handstands Foundation
see all reviewsFizz is a hilarious, encouraging and wonderful instructor! take note that the class isn’t like your typical yoga session (no savasana, no flow sequence) but really a class to help you learn how to do handstands with some quick drills. be prepared to interact with other students, they will help spot you and you’ll have a great time learning together. I learnt how weak my arms & wrists actually are 🤣 thanks Fizz! “don’t scared!”

see all reviewsReformers are well spaced out. Wall and floor length mirrors as expected for a pilates studio. Instructor cues well and there's good progression of movement pieces, which can be challenging at the end. This class is not for newbies (better and safer to do private sessions) due to technicality and intensity of the workout. Need a certain level of physical conditioning and strength to be able to get through the whole session.

see all reviewsGreat class and the heat was good, really sweated a lot! Erin’s instructions were clear and I enjoyed the variation in sequences too :) Only thing is that some of the students in the class are of a much higher level so they move on to advanced poses without much prompting (and it can be slightly intimidating if they happen to be your mat neighbours). But I’ll definitely come back for future classes!!

see all reviewsAppreciate the assisted adjustments and push for deeper stretch. Sweated buckets at the start from more dynamic movements, followed by stretches with the help of the wall for majority of the class. The room does get a little cold towards the end. Sequence was the same over two weeks, but I still learnt new alignments. Enjoyed the stretch, perfect for on a Sunday morning.

see all reviewsThis class was a real gem. John comes around to ask every person for their tense / tight / painful areas and then, with the use of massage balls and blocks etc, individually puts each person into poses to treat those spots. So this class is basically individual therapy combined with a general yin yang practice. I also really appreciated his attentiveness and his explanations of the TCM / yogic principles behind each pose. Definitely hope to be back!

I feel motivated to push myself compared to other gyms where I just want the session to be over 😂 maybe it was the vibes / dynamics of people in the class. Angela was always around somewhere to check in on us and ensure all 8 of us were doing the exercises with the right form. Biggest plus point is that I don't need to wear shoes!!!! 😉 I'll be back for sure.
