    EXCEED: The Workout

    Such friendly people and different from other full body classes I've taken. It was a nice surprise to use the rowing machines, jump ropes and to do sprints. Marianna was great with high energy and correcting form when needed. Nice people at check and at class. Also nice locker room with best towels in a NYC studio yet!!

    Candlelight Heated Yin

    What a great way to start the week. I feel like my perspective has changed since taking this class. We held poses for 2 / 4 / 5 minutes. It seemed long since I typically dont hold stretches for that long but its a good way to get in tune with your body. Emmie was the nicest. Im going to come back and try the other classes.

    Muay Thai Kickboxing

    First time taking this class: whoa, that was sweaty and tiring but fun! Just enough instruction at the beginning to get you going and then the class really moves. If youre super worried about technique this might not be the class for you, but if youre looking to mix up your cardio, this is a great option.

    FOUNDATIONS (core building)

    Pilates is a lot harder than it looks. Especially if you are very thoughtful about it and do it properly. this worked muscles other workouts neglect, sych as hamstrings, and smaller more subtle muscles in the core. It is a very core intensive workout. I have done to beginner classes one with Katherine and one with Sean. Sean's was a little bit harder, but they were both very good introductory classes. If you have never done Pilates, or haven't done it in a long time, you should definitely take this beginner class. the SOHO Studio is beautiful, but I found the Greenwich Village Studio a little more welcoming

    Brady is awesome. A prior physqiue57 instructor, so she knows how to deliver a great workout. Music was great, and my legs/glutes are sore. Exercises were challenging, but manageable. She did two rounds which I actually preferred, helped me to cover more miles than classes Ive done in the past.

    This is a great class for someone who hates standard cardio (running, spinning, dancing etc.) but needs a good cardio fix (think jumping jacks and aerobic type cardio). This class also includes some great toning with weights! It was fun and gave a good sweat!

    More of a barre-based workout than I had expected (there werent any specifics provided on Torchd in the class description other than the fact that it was high-intensity). Also note that this is a no-shoes workout. It was a great workout for anyone who likes barre-type classes and definitely challenging. Isaac is a great instructor.

    Tonights class was ConBody at its best: simple, effective movements taught without pretension by an instructor who sets a high expectation for the class but doesnt make you feel ashamed if you arent doing as many reps as your neighbor.     Boxing Bootcamp

    Awesome full body workout and semi-private. Very hands on you will punch bags, have one on one with instructor with pads, and get to “fight” another student. Technical and fun! Great music and motivating instructor. Bootcamp/ HIIT type no doubt. Was told this class will be done outside in the summer so I will definitely be back! ????????
