    Well organized and a lot of fun! The workout passed by really quickly and was challenging. The instructions for each station were clear and the instructor went around giving everyone pointers, which I appreciated. It doesnt hurt that its right next to a brewery ;)

    Group Class BADLANDS BOXING

    We typically go to Rumble Boxing which is more like a cardio/strength workout. Badlands is our first real boxing class which was very different and required us to relearn a few things using proper form. Although this class is only 45 minutes, we felt like it was much longer because of how much more challenging it was and the different type of circuits we did. We started off with cardio & a bit of stretching for the warmup then learned the 3 first punches and feet movement. We practiced a lot of fundamentals before we put on our gloves and started testing our combos on the bag. During the bag session, we also had to go outside to run to the corner of the street and back twice. After that, we ended the session with abs. We used an ab roller which was the hardest part of the class. We were both exhausted and were sore for days afterwards but saw the most & quickest results. The instructor who if I remember correctly is named Mark. He's really cool, down-to-earth, patient, & encouraging so take his class!

    Lenise is great! She’s thorough with her instructions/corrections while being super friendly and fun! There were 3 students on a Tues evening and it felt intimate and welcoming. I enjoyed the mix of exercises on the floor and on the hammock especially as a beginner. Parking is a little difficult as it’s in the busy area of downtown and there’s only $10 parking lots or $4/hr metered parking. We got lucky and found a metered spot right across the lobby of the building on Spring St. You also need to sign-in to enter the building with the concierge so make sure you give yourself extra time to deal with traffic, parking and check-in!
