Metcon day but there was so much battle rope, wall ball, plank jacks, mountain climbers that we might as well have spent the entire class on handstand 😂 Ree is always the best at giving corrections and looking out for each one of us!!

    BODYPUMP™

Ben has a nice trainer voice :) it is quite amazing how he kept speaking throughout the workout and doesn’t sound tired, there isn’t really any quiet awkward moments. He also provides options and always suggest to drop the weight if we feel fatigue which good, as bodypump is different from other strength classes which focus on overloading

    Les Mills BODYPUMP

The substitute teacher was great. I particularly liked that she advised on form bcos one of the problems with bodypump is often bad form or injury because we are working to tempo. And because i am still recovering from injury i liked that she emphasized reps & form over blindly loading on weights. I also liked her soundtrack (esp you will be saved) , Why are ppl forgetting bodypump is also all abt the music?!

    Bungee Fitness Class

Super fun! Youll definitely need to overcome your fear of falling and fully trust the bungee. Music played only the ending part when all the choreo moves are taught. Remember to drink water before because you wont be unclipped and do not eat too full because the harness will press on your stomach. Also wear thicker tights or extra shorts as the harness could get a little uncomfortable at the groin area.

Class is challenging but Alison always ensures to tailor the poses to suit different levels :) I also like how Alison teaches us how to be more aware of our body to engage the right muscles in the different poses which can help prevent injury.

    Pilates & Core @Novena

I'm so glad I pulled myself off the couch when the weather was so good. Super work out! Enjoyed the pace. And the 45min was just right for me. Do note that you have to keep your mask on till you get breathless. You may remove your mask when you're warmed up.

    Muay Thai

I joined the muay thai class and the instructor was very patient towards beginners like me and my partner. The atmosphere was conducive for learning, and the members were very friendly. The instructor guided us on our basic movements and corrected our form very patiently. It was a great experience and I would recommend stronghold mma to anyone who wants to learn martial arts.

    Muay Thai All Levels

It was a good workout! Was drenched to the toes but I had fun and covered quite a handful of boxing and kicking techniques in just one class. It was my first Muay Thai class in my life. Instructor was an authentic Thai teacher so I got the full ride. Highly recommend if you're looking for a full body workout.

    Muay Thai

Muay Thai is pain. Started with skipping for 5min as warmup. Then did the basic jab, cross, hook, uppercut, elbow, knee, body kicks and low kicks on the punching bag. After that did a few rounds of sparring with the instructor. For cooldown at the end, did 100 crunches and 10 pushups. Think its quite worth it. Class size was small and costs about the same as boxing.

    Kickboxing / Self-Defense

I had so much fun in this class. the coach was so excitable and happy to teach us really cool moves like how to block roundhouse kicks, or how to execute a baby flying jump kick (baby because we weren't flexible enough to execute it to completion yet). the moves look like they would be really practical in a fight too - how to sweep away a basic kick or block blows to any side of your body. 10/10 would come again.
