The music was amazing and so was the workout! I wish he would have corrected more people as there was someone next to me who was doing it all wrong.

    Open Gym: Rumble Boxing

There’s no in person instructor. An audio recording plays overhead. They kept the few people there pretty spaced out. So half (maybe 5 of us) started on bags while the other 5 on floor. Class is not ideal if you’re not already familiar with the boxing punches, since there won’t be anyone there to correct you.

Great new, clean, spacious space! Only studio I know of that has woodway curves. Staff is super welcoming. Looking forward to coming back and trying their other classes (and sounds like even more types are coming soon)

Super fun workout, learned a lot, really challenging and sore for days (mmmm maybe we should have had some time for warm up/cool down stretches? No Soap/shampoo in showers though!

Beautiful and large facilities. Patrick was super fun and encouraging and I loved that he would go around the class and correct everyone needing corrections, finally a place that cares about people’s good form!

Alessandra was very supportive of me as it was my first time there although it was not my first time kickboxing, many of the moves were different. There was a lot of partner exercises and an odd number so I worked with her one on one and she was very encouraging and I got in twice the workout! I will be back!

The instructor was a sub but he was great. Music was great which made the class a lot of fun. Also a great work out. Im feeling sore the next day and Im usually a two day person. The facility is very run down though.

It was my first spin class, and Madison was awesome! She helped me figure out the proper settings for my bike and was very encouraging. It was a great workout! I walked out drenched in sweat and feeling great. I will definitely do this again!

    Bungee: Adrenaline Rush

What an amazing joy-bomb of a workout! Felt like I was working out with a dancer from the dance troupe that did De La Guarda. The instructor was effervescent and tons of fun, quick with encouragement and full of brilliant innovations like playing the Mission Impossible theme while challenging us to keep from touching the floor as she gently gave us a little spin. And, in addition to being incredibly playful, the class was actually a really challenging workout. My joints are just about fed up with conventional calisthenics and I’m burned out on bootcamp and HIIT, so I was thrilled to find this class offered all the cardio and strengthening plus balance and coordination without any impact. Couldn’t ask for a better workout or a nicer instructor!

Challenging! Non stop movement. I was sweating like crazy. I found it a little hard to keep up as many of the moves were new to me but I like that as I know I won’t get bored and I have room to improve.

Joseph’s breakfast club is the place to be in NYC on Saturdays at 10 am. It’s one of the few authentic experiences left in New York, and someday I’m sure we’ll all look back on it and feel grateful that we got the chance to be there and hang out with a mad German kickboxing champion who got us to push through our comfort zone and learn to attack life itself.
