    F.I.T. (Focused Interval Training)

Being that the class packs are limited and more expensive now...this is the third studio and third class this week where classpass had the wrong instructor posted or instructor switched and classpass didn't send anything. When I sign up for a class a lot of times I am signing up for that instructor...anyway overall teacher was good

    Signature II

Always worried about taking subs + oddly couldn't find many reviews about Erin but she gave us an amazing class! Her thigh section was extremely in depth + covered 7 different positions, adding to her super extended abs hitting all the areas. She moved very fast with transitions which I chalk up to us being able to do more in the given class time. Definitely worth taking!

    FlyBarre 60

Great great workout as always and amazing instructor but was very distracted by some individuals who just had to be educated of spatial awareness and how much noise they make. Its relatively low impact workout and theres no need to exaggerate breathing.

    FlyBarre: Power 45

Cameron is great - friendly and helpful with really clear tips and instructions. This was a tough full body workout and my butt was so sore after but in a good way! My only criticism with fly Barre classes overall is the music which can be a bit boring and unrecognizable. I'd love it if they incorporated more upbeat, popular songs like flywheel. Still really enjoyed the class.

    Exhale Barre

The ONLY exhale instructor I’ll take anymore, especially now that these classes cost a Whooping 12 credits, and the level of challenge has drastically dropped to almost a basic level, now catered to unfit, out of shape ppl. Prepare to work in his class. Alex is non stop, wasting zero time in the full hour - we covered 4 thigh positions including a glute intermission, then a set of glute work at both the barre + floor, topped off with 2 sets plank work, rather lengthy flat back + round back core sets, adding to the opening arm work that included 14 movements. Awesomely Killer

She's awesome - definitely one of the best instructors at Exhale despite the fact that she's rarely on the schedule. Every section (arms, thighs, glutes, abs) is thorough, challenging & exhausts the muscles fully. No time is wasted in her classes - a must try!

John David is new favorite exhale instructor. He’s upbeat and leads a hard class but he also is great with corrections and incorporates great stretching during move transitions. Big fan and this particular slot is a fairly quietly class, which is very welcome!!

    Power 45

Best barre class I've ever taken. Tony's got great energy and very good at explaining things like "try to take the bounce out of the ball" so I know how to adjust and stabilize my core even more. We only worked with 2 and 3 lb weights but my body was screaming in pain- good pain cause I knew each movement was forcing me to work hard for it. Explanations always help me to understand movements better and I appreciate that he took the time to do this with every move. Thanks! I'll def be back :)

Ava’s one of the best. Always finds new ways to challenge us, which is a true feat for me as an athlete, so I’m a super tough critic when it comes to barre classes + instructors I’ll spend credits on. Loved floor glutes today on our side body + she fired up our core throughout abs

Chandon was great! She was really good about pushing you but also coming around to fix your form. If she sees you struggling she will give you a modification. I stayed a bit afterwards to ask questions and she was nice enough to show me the proper moves. Taking her class again!

    Beginner Modern

Sean Scantlebury's class was fun and challenging. He got us dancing and sweating. He did a good job of breaking down his interesting choreography so that it was doable for beginners. I normally dislike floorwork, but he made it palatable and accessible, although some agility was required (inverted movement with partial handstand).

    Total Body HILIIT

After six months of being sedentary, I’m so glad I decided to jump back into wellness with this amazing studio. The space is small so be mindful of that if you are on the toll side but other than that, the class was amazing. Low-key enough for a beginner but challenging enough for a seasoned athlete. The instructor, Kim put me at ease and let us make some modifications and go at our own pace while allowing more experienced students to take on more advanced repetitions. This is a full body workout so come prepared to do Burpee‘s, crunches, lunches, and weights!

I’ve taken other barre classes but this was my first at Bar Method. It was tough! The instructor was really nice and encouraging with lots of hands-on corrections. The only issue I had was that many of the moves were described verbally but not demonstrated, so could be a little confusing for a newbie. Otherwise great.

Julie is awesome! She keeps you going and motivated. This class is really tough as you're constantly moving-I'm always sore after i take this class. It's more like a HIIT class since you're doing squats, air punches, planks, etc. But you don't move stations, it's all done in place at your mat. I love incorporating this class into my weekly routine!

    OCR Bootcamp

Christina was awesome and so was the class. It was a super small class so lots of individual attention. This isnt a typical HIIT class but more structured like an actual OCR race. We did obstacle stuff like monkey bars and rope climbs and farmer carries interspersed with runs. I was wheezing during the runs, and my last run pretty much turned into a walk. We worked a lot on technique and Christina was amazing with cues. Im not training for a race or anything but it really pushed me more than other HIIT workouts Ive done.
