The treadmill portion reminded me of the fartlek method, then when you hopped off to the weighted portion it was similar to HIIT. It was a great workout and vibe! It was my first time there and I was scared of the treadmill, but she did a great job explaining everything and making me, as well as several other new folks, feel comfy. The only thing I didn’t like was that it was only 62 degrees in the space. 🥶 But, I’m usually a hot yoga kind of girl, so take that with a grain of salt.

Although the small amount of cardio towards the end caught me off guard as I believe this class did not Include any cardio based movements in the description. I did expect a bit of a slower paced Pilates class considering it was a yoga fusion. Either way, loved it!

The running combined with lagree is difficult but I definitely noticed better running than usual (as someone trying to get back into running consistently.) I’ll be taking this class again!

The front desk girlies were authentically kind and helpful. Logan is a phenomenal instructor; he balances being supportive and motivating while still challenging you to push past your comfort zone. I also had a few class members tell me “great job” as a newcomer, which I feel speaks volumes about the culture of Barry’s. While it may be perceived as an intimidating space, if you can get past that mental block you will be met with a really great workout within a truly welcoming space. Looking forward to coming back here soon.

Locker rooms are clean, showers are well equipped, and the place is stocked with all sorts of things you could ever need. The lady at the front who checked me in was very friendly and welcoming. Quinn, the instructor, was great! The flow of the class worked well and her cues were intentional and clear. I am also a Pilates instructor, so I have more experience in that regard than your typical client. Quinn explained the reformer perfectly and demonstrated each move as we went through the class so there was no confusion while also providing positive feedback and correcting people’s forms in a respectful way. Overall a wonderful studio!
