It’s my first impression, but I appreciated all of the generations working out there together, which you don’t find a lot of the hip, slick gyms in the city. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Everyone was conscientious of each others’ space in the locker room, greeting each other, not taking up seating with backpacks and objects. A customer was even sweeping water toward the drains inside the entire shower chamber after her use! It was all so refreshing.

see all reviewsYoussef is one off the best trainers in Amsterdam who’s specialised Dutchstyle kickboxing. I saw a comment saying he doesn’t give his training in English. Show some respect! You’re in the Netherlands if you didn’t notice, our language is Dutch. Everyone speaks English and even Youssef is! For the last 3 years I’ve trained with Youssef 2/3 times a week and he gives all his trainings in English, sometimes he needs a little help with translation but he try’s for the non-Dutch speakers. I’m Dutch and we all learn English so we can understand and talk to people who visit this country, don’t complain if it’s not up to your standards. Maybe try to learn Dutch if it bothers you, start with: Bedankt voor de training♥️!

Nice format: circuits with power/strength exercises, 40 seconds on, 20 seconds to move to the next station. Followed by AMRAP in 12 minutes with box steps, dumb bell push presses, kettlebell high pulls and plank pull unders. Bodil explains the exercises well and makes sure that the group stays on track, but she paid little attention to individuals.
