How it works

About this class

Vinyasa is a dynamic system of practicing asana by linking breath to continuous movement in sequence. This style of yoga builds heat, endurance, flexibility, and strength through focused concentration. An attentive ear and some knowledge of basic yoga postures is recommended to keep pace with the flow. Sequencing is often built around sun salutations, and may vary with teacher. Students are encouraged to modify and take variations if needed.

Teacher was very good, but wish she took the crowdedness of the class into account when calling out certain poses...people were constantly bumping into each other
Vinyasa with Alyssa
I love Yoga Garden for the instructors and rarely even go anywhere else for yoga. This class was so confusing and hard to follow and I’ve been doing yoga for close to 20 years. It was very strange.
Vinyasa with Alyssa
It was very hard to follow along with the instructor.
Vinyasa with Brooke
Lots of people packed into a very small room - good class but not the most pleasant experience
Vinyasa with Lael
Easy and relaxing vinyasa class.
Vinyasa with Roy
Class felt a bit rushed, both from his pace (always seemed like the class was a few steps behind his cues) and the fast-paced music. A very athletic class, not the anxiety-soother I was looking for.
Vinyasa with Roy
Only Roy Gan can get away with having the Forest Gump theme song on his playlist.
Vinyasa with Brooke
This is more of an advanced beginner class, but it was nice to slow down. The instructor walked us through an active flow and broke down the poses, which forced me to focus on alignment. It served as a great reminder on proper form.
