About this class

If you are new to yoga this is where you start. These classes are for students who are new to yoga or students who haven’t practiced in a while. This is the class where we learn to establish a safe and solid foundation for our practice. Basic level classes focus on building strength, flexibility and teaching students how to incorporate the breath into their practice. We remind our teachers to give students a balance of personal attention and space, and modifications when necessary, which allow students to develop their own relationship to the practice. All classes consist of flowing asana sequences as well as meditation, yoga breathing (pranayama) and guided relaxation.

Great stuff
Basic with Ileana
Great class! Instructor was clear and went at a reasonable pace. I was a bit hesitant to take this class at first because I thought it might be too slow or very beginner, but the instructor gives you options to make poses a bit more challenging. The slower pace actually makes you hold postures for longer, so you feel the heat in your body. Will def come again whenever I’m in town!

I went on April 25th and class was really superb! I wish I remembered the name of the substitute teacher for the class. She was amazing and I loved the essential oils she brought too!

The instructor was so sweet! The facility is clean. Highly recommend the basic class! The room got pretty full, so I recommend getting their a few minutes early.

What is ClassPass?
