About this class

Our Killer Class. 45 MINUTES LONG! High-intensity, full-body workouts that target the major muscle groups of the upper & lower body. From circuit-style routines that jump-start cardio fitness, to creative muscle-toning exercises using dumbbells, exercise bands, or even the participant’s body weight, each class brings its own unique challenges. BootcampFIT will improve cardiovascular stamina, core strength & flexibility. Although this class is designed for all fitness levels, we suggest attending at least 3 non-warriorfit classes prior to WarriorFIT

WarriorFIT - Vibration Training with Monica
Very different type of workout. It was interesting and worth a try. The vibrating machine takes a bit to get used to. Bring grip socks or you can buy them. I definitely broke a sweat but not sure my form was super great. Kinda hard to keep good form on the machine. At one point you have a band around your thighs and you’re stepping down off the machine and back onto it. I get the idea of resistance, but it felt a bit off. All in all I’d go again. Different is good!

I loved aspects of the class, BUT I couldn’t hear a word Jazmin said. I don’t know if the mic or the music was too loud. Because of that, I got pretty bored half way through because I couldn’t hear the instructions. I had to look at the others in the class often to know what to do because she demo’d for a short amount of time but by the time I got to the move, she was finished demonstrating. Also, the last part of the class was probably 10-12 rounds of squats which didn’t provide any variety. I definitely got bored during that part. For the positives, the class was intense and the vibrations take a little to get used to but they add an interesting twist to everything that I enjoyed. I also feel really great after the class! I plan to go back. If I had been able to hear and had there not been a long while of the same move, I would’ve given 5 stars.

I thought I would try this studio again- they don’t ventilate or use any AC, so everything is super slippery. The windows are totally fogged up at all times. The machines and weights are slippery and frankly a little dangerous. As for the class, after the normal 30 minute mark, the instructor just started over with everything done at the beginning of class.

Thanks for the feedback! During the winter, our studio gets pretty cold so we don't use the AC as much -- but never hesitate to ask our trainer or front desk to help accommodate your needs!! We do like people to sweat though ;) Kinda hard to control the window fog due to the outside temperatures :/ Will take into consideration the slippery-ness, and try to wipe down throughout classes even more so. Will also take the feedback for our instructor for WarriorFit! Thank you and hope you'll give us another chance!

How to prepare

Who’s PLATEFIT designed for? Anyone! (who isn't pregnant) At PLATEFIT they believe fitness looks different on every body. PLATEFIT tips: Feels like the very first time? We recommend at least 3 classes to acclimate your body to vibration. Grip Soled Socks are required & available at the studios for $15. First Time clients- please arrive 15 min early so the staff can give you the PLATEFIT vibrational down low. They allow a grace period of 3 mins. Arrival after 3 mins will result in the loss of your spot if a Wait List client is present.

How to get there

PLATEFIT - Studio City is located at 13033 Ventura Blvd. Suite F Los Angeles, CA 91604 Valet parking is complimentary. Parking in back of building before 10:30 AM and after 2:30 PM. NO PLATEFIT parking between 10:45am-2:30pm in valet. All other times available. Ample street parking and meters available.
