Yin yoga is a serene, slow form of yoga. Holding poses opens up layers of connective tissue around your joints, easing the stresses from more active sport or a busy life. It is for everybody and people say they have their best night's sleep after practicing Yin. * All levels welcome.

How to prepare

Please arrive in plenty of time for your class. You must be in the yoga room ready by the class start time as we start our classes on time and latecomers cannot be admitted. Your reserved spot may then be given to a standby student. Please wear comfortable yoga or exercise clothes. Wearing slightly form-fitting clothing is advised so that the instructor may provide alignment cues and corrections. When coming to any Hot Class you are required to have a towel that covers the entire mat. We do rent these for an additional £2.00 if needed.

Pacific Yoga is located on the ground floor of the Brewhouse in Georges Square.

I've been to yin twice now, the first time was great but second time the room was so busy there wasn't enough props and blankets and it was not relaxing. I feel that capping the class at a comfortable capacity would improve the experience.

Helen is a fantastic instructor and her voice is very calm, and soothing. Love this class and try to go every week. Yin yoga adds that much needed serenity and peace to daily life, and time to get in touch with your mind, body and spirit.
