Yoga for Beginners/Improvers at Andrea Om Yoga
About this class
The beginners class! An accessible flow yoga class combining hatha, vinyasa and gentle yoga, focusing on linking movement with the breath in a flowing sequence and suitable for students of all levels. The magic with yoga is that all you need is to ‘have a body to do the yoga’! Our teaching style is open and accessible yoga – making sure we listen to the body that day and nourish ourselves with an intuitive flow. Variations will be given as appropriate for each person’s practice. Starting with gentle stretches, then building up with core, hip openers and twists or possibly challenging postures, then slowing down with deep relaxation towards the end. Savasana or sleeping posture being the most important pose to tie it all together and soak up our good work! Please bring your own yoga mat or do send me a text in advance on 0790 8852496 if you would like to borrow one.

How to prepare
Please bring your own yoga mat or do send me a text in advance on 0790 8852496 if you would like to borrow one. Wear comfortable clothes you and move around in easily, bring some water and a smile. We practice in the community space downstairs (no need to go up the stairs) :-)
How to get there
The Andrea Om Yoga Studio is located in the Balham Community Centre at 91 Bedford Hill, SW12 9HE. Our Community classes run downstairs at the beautiful little basement studio at the Community centre on Bedford hill, moments from Balham train station and many bus stops.
