see all reviewsBlack instructor: two students. We did lots of fitness exercises incouding cycling, jumping jets/star jumps, push ups, sit ups, squats, and even weight training. The professor did not teach new skills, but he asked us to do positional sparring starting with the back taken. This is useful practice because if my enemy jumps on my back, i must learn how to defeat my enemy from there(although IRL probably we would start standing because if I were on the ground and my enemy were not, he would probably just kick me, rather than try to take my back). My partner was significantly stronger than me, and not a beginner like me, so he effortlessly manhandled me lol!

see all reviewsLoved this class! The instructor is very engaging and gives very clear cues to ensure that we can follow the steps, all while reminding us that just enjoying ourselves and moving is really what matters more. The studio is within a stone’s throw from Chinatown and Clarke Quay MRT, making it so convenient, and the studio itself is well ventilated and spacious. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating as well.
