About this studio

The Dailey Method® is a unique combination of ballet barre work, core conditioning, muscle strengthening, yoga and orthopedic exercises. This challenging one-hour barre exercise class effectively strengthens, tones and lengthens the entire body. All movement is controlled and very focused, effective and safe. Proper alignment is their primary focus. Then each set of exercises is followed by a series of active stretches to develop more sculpted and supple muscles. The entire body and mind is constantly working throughout their workout. Through this process one's body, posture and physical awareness will be transformed. 623-9577

How to prepare

Grip socks are required (if they don't own a pair, you may purchase a pair at the studio).

very slow flow, great hands-on adjustments, some awesome spacey new age music but sometimes the music got a little too sappy for me. overall solid class for stretching.

Dailey Barre with Dana
Class was pretty slow. I often feel like there's not enough "seat" exercises but this was especially skimpy in that. In other barre classes the teacher keeps the pace going much quicker. Oh well. Was feeling kinda lazy anyway so it matched where I was at. But usually I get pushed more in barre classes than in this one.
