pretty hard to follow, started way before the listed start time of class

Very interesting class. Did not interact with instructor. Was not aware of timing throughout the class. The routines were difficult to follow because there was no instruction. Definitely sweat because of the blazing sun and loved being outdoors but did not feel like the class burned 1000+ calories.

very upbeat and challenging but SO fast paced it was hard to follow. Rachel is great though, i've been to another one of her classes and i loved it

The class was hard to follow as a first timer. The teacher could have stayed up at the front the whole time so we could follow along and or help us when we are clearly lost. The music kept changing and it would have been nice to let songs play out.

Thank you for your review of our class. We will update the description with a recommendation to arrive 15 minutes early to go over some of the more complicated steps for the first time. Generally speaking, Rachel changes the music to reflect the tempo of the exercise and being that songs in the House Music genre are often 10+ minutes long she is forced to change them depending on the exercise and intensity.

A little disorganized--good workout but felt like it could have been a few less confusing steps and would still have been very fast paced but a little easier to follow.

Thank you for the input. This class is a challenge and is more of an intermediate class and we will update the description to reflect that. You are always welcome to contact us before hand and schedule to come 15 min early to learn the steps. We want it to be accessible to new comers as well as challenging to our veterans and that is sometimes a tough line to walk.

We apologize for any confusion. Our website is the only place I am aware of that we can give complete instructions. Every map program puts us in a different place but we are verified on Google maps so if you decide to give us another try start there. The groups are generally quite large, 20 to 25 people just a couple hundred yards south of the San Diego Hilton Spa and resort.

Good workout, but i hurt my back on one of the moves with the sandbags.

We are very sorry to hear that. We always have an array of different weighted bags available so we really rely on you all letting us know if something is too heavy. We pride ourselves on High Reward, Low Risk workouts but every-so-often something happens. Always, always bring something up like this to your instructor immediately so we can address the issue or in the least, not make it worse. Again, we are very sorry that you experienced back pain during one of our exercises.
