About this studio

This is our 2nd location on the UES. Regenerate82 focuses more on Core Strengthening, Pilates classes & Restorative Yoga classes, stretch & meditation.. as well as personal training. We are small & set up like a small personal training studio w/black rubber floors & TRX bands hanging on the walls. We are not a traditional yoga studio but our yoga instructors are amazing & love what they do. Betsy is our beginner pilates instructor, so if you are looking for slow, basic classic pilates, sign up for her class. Nicole teaches all levels & Pilates Plus for the advanced. All pilates classes are Mat. We also offer Core Circuit classes which utilize the skiierg machines. You will rotate between cardio & ab work. Our locations are considered different facilities through ClassPass.

How to prepare

We have cubbies for shoes & coat hooks for coats & bags. No shoes needed for pilates. We provide water, mats & towels for free.

Q train to E.86th street - exit on the E.83rd street side. Walk down 1 block to E.82nd Turn left, Walk 2 aves to York Avenue. We are between York and East End Avenues. 506 E.82nd street. 4,5, train to 86th street Walk to E.82, Turn left & walk east towards York Avenue. We are @506 East 82nd street between York and East End Avenues. 6 train to 77th street Walk to E.82, Turn right & walk east towards York Avenue. We are @506 East 82nd street between York and East End Avenues.

Good basic class. Betsy was patient and made adjustments, demonstrating proper positions. Slower pace than I would have liked.
Chair Yoga with Nicole
Nicole is a fantastic instructor. She changes her chair yoga flow on the regular and customized it to who comes. She is a true gem! I definitely recommend her class to anyone whos curious about what kind of yoga you can do jn the office, on an airplane, because that is chair yoga afterall. Anyone of any age can try this! Just dont expect a vigorous work out. :) thanks Nicole!

Really great class. Great for Pilates newbies and those with a little more experience who want to work on mastering the basics.
Stretch and Relaxation Yoga Nidra with Nancy
The instructor was very lovely and made a really nice practice for us. The studio is kinda a hole in the wall tho. This was my first nidra yoga practice, which I found out is a lot of poses on your back for longer periods of time. If youre looking for something to strengthen or get your heart rate going this isnt it. But it is very relaxing.

The studio was more a tiny room with a space heater and no place to change. The instructor couldnt demonstrate any of the exercises and I felt like I didnt even get a workout. I really would like to have my points back and am so disappointed.

Disappointed. I expected more from a studio in UES. Space is tight. No changing rooms. It was my first time trying out Pilates and I found it hard to follow as the teacher was only instructing verbally. Not going there again.

Stephanie sheds light and joy all over! This is very meditative (not a workout) youll do about 3-4 different restorative poses.
