About this studio

The Pure Barre technique is low-impact, protecting your joints by avoiding any bouncing or jumping. Each strength section of the workout is followed by a stretching section in order to create long, lean muscles without bulk. The technique works to defy gravity by tapering everything in and lifting it up! Please be aware classes start on time and clients should arrive 15 minutes early. Doors will lock at the start of class. Socks are required!

How to prepare

1.New students must arrive 15 mins early to fill out paperwork, regardless of having been to other Pure Barres 2.We cannot accommodate anyone who is more than 5 mins late 3.Pants, legging or capris (no shorts) + top that covers midriff + socks required 4.Shoes & cell phones are not allowed in studio 5.Please let the instructor know of any injuries 6.Pregnant students: always consult with your doctor before beginning a new exercise routine and alert your teacher for modifications

Loved this class but if you are sore because of lifting the day before or two days before I would wait it out
Pure Barre with Kali
Ive taken a lot of Pure Barre classes, and this one was not my favorite. Way too many people in the class, felt very claustrophobic. Also the instructor didnt really demo any of the moves sufficiently. Im a pretty visual person, so I like when the instructor walks around doing the move we are supposed to be doing at different places in the room. This instructor just kind of described the moves and then walked around correcting people. Super hard to follow and as I was looking around the room, I noticed I was not the only person who was super confused. Everyone seemed to be doing something slightly different. It was hot in the room, so I got sweaty, but not really convinced I got a good workout!

Kali was welcoming and very high energy. She was also very encouraging. As a newbie I had trouble keeping up, it was different than other barre classes I have taken at other studios. I will try it again.

The instructor was really nice and gave adequate instructions. That said, I dont feel like I got a workout and had to come home and workout again. Very slow pace and easy to get bored.
