Teacher was nice, however her instructions were unclear and her modeling of the moves were rushed. I saw I wasn’t the only one affected since many others were confused and doing different moves. Also, Sarah seems to have a fun & bubbly personality, wish she would bring that more into her instruction style!

About this studio

The Pure Barre technique is low-impact, protecting your joints by avoiding any bouncing or jumping. Each strength section of the workout is followed by a stretching section in order to create long, lean muscles without bulk. The technique works to defy gravity by tapering everything in and lifting it up! Please be aware classes start on time and clients should arrive 15 minutes early. Doors will lock at the start of class. Pants, legging or capris (no shorts) + top that covers midriff + socks required! 917 965 2175

How to prepare

1.New students must arrive 15 mins early to fill out paperwork, regardless of having been to other Pure Barres 2.We cannot accommodate anyone who is late 3.Pants, legging or capris (no shorts) + top that covers midriff + socks required 4.Shoes & cell phones are not allowed in studio 5.Please let the instructor know of any injuries 6.Pregnant students: always consult with your doctor before beginning a new exercise routine and alert your teacher for modifications

How to get there

The studio is located at 412 Columbus Ave btwn 79th and 80th streets. Please make sure to arrive early as clients will not be let into class once the class has begun.
