About this studio

Modo Hot Yoga has been voted the "Best Yoga Studio" in Cincinnati by CityBeat Magazine in consecutive years (2016 & 2017) Modo is an accessible, community based yoga studio, which offers many different yoga classes ( Modo which is heated, Yin, Ashtanga, Hot Flow, Pre-Natal, Kids) along with Pilates, Barre, Iron Hour (yoga w/ light weights) and other fun and challenging classes. Classes are suitable for all levels of ability. Their studio has two practice rooms - one is a hot room (heated to 100F), the other room is average temperature or can be lightly heated. After class, enjoy the filtered water station, large change rooms, spacious showers, and the provided Aveda hair and body product. They look forward to seeing you soon.

How to prepare

Please wear comfortable yoga or exercise clothes. Slightly form fitting clothes are advised so that the instructor may provide alignment cues and as needed adjustments. 
Please bring your mat, yoga/shower towel and a water bottle. Modo provides a filtered water station, so you can hydrate well before and after class. After class, all your needs will be met in our modern change rooms. The studio provides spacious showers, Aveda shampoo, conditioner and body wash for all of our guests.

A total reset on your body. Sweat it all out and restore your breath and body.
Iron Hour - 60 minutes with Stephanie
I’ve only done Hollie’s iron hour in the past and this was a little different but still a great workout. I thought we had a better balance of yoga (especially liked stretching at the end of class) along with strength but the class wasn’t as challenging as Hollie’s. I’m still expecting to be sore tomorrow though and I loved the music as always!
Hot 60 with Myrita
The class was very slow, the instructor called us yogis over 200 times while shouting, and it really distracted me from my practice. I normally really enjoy classes in this studio!

Great for some yogis with a little experience. The added heat can be difficult if you don’t have a firm grasp on the basic moves.

Class was very good! Definitely not for beginners, but not insanely hard. Studio is nice

Great first class to start the new year off on a good fit. Super tough - I’m sure I’ll be sore tomorrow! Hollie is great, and her playlists are always on point.
