About this studio

Located in the heart of South Side, Millennium Dance Complex is a space for all to come together to share through the community of dance. With a weekly schedule of more than 30 drop-in dance and fitness classes, Millennium provides students of all levels with convenient training options in a comfortable, judgment-free environment that promotes unity in diversity and dance for the love of dance. Millennium Pittsburgh offers open classes in Ballet, Hip Hop, Hip Hop Grooves, Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, Burlesque, Stretching and Conditioning and more. Classes are labeled based on the skill level required to complete class successfully; please note the level before selecting a class. Feel free to call the studio after 3 p.m. Monday through Friday for class recommendations!

How to prepare

To get the most out of your class experience, please arrive at least 5-10 minutes early. If it's your first visit, please leave a little extra time to check in at the Front Desk to create your New Student Account. For all classes, please wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in. For Hip Hop, Jazz Funk or Burlesque/Heels classes, bring a clean pair of shoes to change into for class. Yoga mats are available for all Stretching and Conditioning classes. Students are encouraged to bring water into all classes.

How to get there

Millennium Dance Complex Pittsburgh is located at 2504 E. Carson St. in Pittsburgh, PA. There is a parking lot for students on the corner of E. Carson St. and 25th St. There is also street parking available and the studio is within walking distance of several parking garages located near the SouthSide Works complex. Once inside the studio, please check in at the Front Desk and a studio representative will direct you to the appropriate studio for your class.

Int/Adv Contemporary with Elisa
Class was great, instructor was awesome. However, would not recommend for someone who is just getting back into the studio after some time away (aka a 30 year old ex-ballerina). Class was entirely middle school aged or younger students. You're going to get your butt rocked. Start with basic and work your way back up.

Basic Adult Hip Hop with Cameron was honestly one of the best drop-in dance classes I've ever taken! the energy was so high, Cameron was super encouraging, and the whole class was accepting! The choreography was a beginner-intermediate level and I was able to follow along easily (I have danced before - about a year of beginner experience on my college dance team). Highly recommend!

This should be called bootcamp barre. Theres a yoga-inspired warm up and cool down but otherwise a power workout. It was awesome!

Class was fun and all levels of dancers were in attendance. It was laidback but challenging with room for modification in every step!

What is ClassPass?
